Re: New TV series

I spent the last hour figuring out how to bypass that "blockage" and edit the file down to a small condensed version :)

Re: FR-4X!!!

The 4x has been out for several months now. :) There are plenty of people that have them already and several dozen videos on Youtube, mostly by Dale Mathas and Richard Noel, but several others too. The 4x has no onboard charging because it uses standard "AA" batteries. Both a pain and a ni...

Re: Usb Stick for Roland FR3X

I have a scandisk 64gb and 128gb and both work well with my 8X, but the 3x does have some issues with some brands/sizes. It doesn't seem to have any known issues with any brand USB stick as long as it's under 16gb in size from all that I have read in the Roland Yahoo forums going back as much as 4 y...

Re: Usb Stick for Roland FR3X

I've heard about this one before. Make sure it's a 4gb or 8gb stick, anything over that sometimes confuses some V-accordions. I must have tested about 10 different ones on my 8X successfully, nothing over 16gb, never any issues. For recording and playing around I mostly used this pair of 4gb units t...

Re: Prices for New Roland Digitals?

I know in talking to forum members who have bought Roland, and talking to dealers, the U.S. dealership seems to offer excellent service, followup, training etc. The good news is that if you use a bit of common sense and follow the guidelines of the manual and suggestions of others, the 8X seems qui...

Re: Changing sets on FR-1xb

Besides sounding great, it looks like you are going to blow a few minds in the process! :)

Good luck, I hope the practicing and entire process go fast and easy for you... and don't forget to post a few videos of you and your new baby in action!

Re: Changing sets on FR-1xb

It seems that the accordion is indeed popular, but in small pockets of areas around the world. As far as seeing it more, it's kind of like cars... you never saw so many of the same model car until after you bought one, then you seem to see them everywhere. :)

Fun Dune reference up there! :D

Re: Prices for New Roland Digitals?

You know Stephen, I love my acoustic, but there are a few advantages to a digital accordion (but other disadvantages too of course) that make it quite desireable: - they never go out of tune - generally lighter than a full sized accoustic - you can play using headphones - the musical possibilities a...
