Re: The

The B is a Bb.
Don't ask.......
There is a lot of good accordion music from German publishers so it's worth getting used to.
It's in the same vain as French publishers with their do, re, mi etc. Worth learning to read.

Re: New member from Hungary

Good luck Atilla. Make sure you have the accordion in your arms before you hand over the money. A business with financial problems is a legal nightmare if things go wrong.

Looks to be a great concert. I've been following him a bit on YouTube and he's very entertaining and energetic.

Re: FR-4X!!!

If you Google around a bit you see there are differences between the two batteries. This is not so much in their voltage but rather their peak power and methods of charging.

Re: Accordion in the late night talkshow

Great video of the performance. Really interesting combination with refreshing sounds and harmonies. Was eGwn Cresens playing a sort of bandonion with "regular" button layout?

Re: BK7m songbook app for Ipad?

Quite a few modern laptops have large screens, fold like a tablet and are touch sensitive with blue tooth.
Maybe one of these is a viable and flexible alternative, especially in vieŵ of their flexibility to support DAWs and editors etc.

Re: Bass Registers on a Roland V-Accordion

A bit like alternate timings on a guitar. Not a bad idea but I do think you would need a dedicated external programmer to do that as there are not just 6 strings as on a guitar. By the way, the others chord types are achievable by the right combinations of bass and chords on the Stradella. Maybe not...

Re: Trying to improve sight-reading

I think educated (experienced) guesses help to sight read on the accordion. Often the type of music we play has a certain regularity that can be second guessed most of the time. The notes you read just gently guide our guesses in the right direction. Of course now and again you go completely wrong b...

Re: Can you get lessons in music tech or not really?

I seem to remember there was a YouTube video or article somewhere where the rate of CC11 was being measured and if I remember well altered but I cannot for the life of me find it again. Maybe one of you has the search skills to locate it as it may help in the midi overload issue. I just realised tha...

Re: Bass Registers on a Roland V-Accordion

Jerry is right. You cannot program the individual chord voicing from the ones provided by Roland. The voicing change if you set up your bass to be 3x3 instead of the more common 2x4 but other than that no. I have never really considered the default register set as unusual as I never thought there wa...
