Yes Paul is quite correct, If this is one of the leathers you have straightened and replaced it is possibly is now to stiff (not pliable)it will also cause a buzzing effect. An inside (the reed block) leather may also cause the same effect. I must applaud you to endeavor to take on a personal effort...

Try remelting the wax around the reed plate. If this does not work, it just might be a misaligned reed tongue. Try looking here under "Misalignment" ----

That glue that shoemakers use is really just barge cement. Not sure of the condition of yours, I must say that they may be a student model but made with semi-pro qualities. The accordion in your Pic's has individual reed plates. An accordion of this age made in the Tula region (Russia) would in most cases have plates with many reed tongues.
