Re: Titano's 40's to the 80's

The evolution of the Hohner Morino is a nice example. I believe the Morino M was the last one produced by Hohner. The N and S were made by Excelsior. I will have to disagree with that. My parents went to the Hohner factory in Trossingen Germany to pick up my Hohner Morino VI N. That is where it was...

Re: Selling

I have to say the amount of people on here asking the same old question can be rather tiring but then I don't see any harm in it.... That is the #1 issue facing most any forum out there. I try to avoid it by being an anonymous lurker for a few weeks, then join... but yet I still will ask something ...

Re: King of the hill?

Well, as someone that has some experience with computers, I can tell you that you would be surprised at some of the things that can happen when you mix technology and someone a bit unsure, or sometimes it's not even the person's fault, but a bug in the code or perhaps the lunar phase of the moon... ...

Re: Newbie Question about PA Keyboards

If the question is there a difference in feel when playing different piano accordions, oh I can guarantee you that there can be huge differences. The size of the keys, the pressure needed to press and the rebound speed and of course the feel of the keys is all day and night difference between my Elk...

Re: Selling

There's a 'report' button somewhere; feel free to use it. It's the small white exclamation point in a grey square box just left of the "QUOTE" button that is at the top right of every post... just sayin'. :D ... and now that "policy" has been set, I'm good with the decision. :ch

Re: Selling

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? -Juvenal That is also a question that comes up in practically all other forums, the answer is simple... he/she who owns the board (or to one or more trusted souls that were given administrative rights), always have final say. Those that are not happy with that are fre...

... or a minimum post amount? One cannot post to the appropriate section until "X" number of posts are made. My guess is somewhere between at least 50-100 posts, unless they are known as a reputable source, and this could be lifted in that case.

Re: New member from Montreal, Qc, Canada

A little update... out of the 4 accordions that I had stashed for over 25 years (one for over 35 years!), the only one that suffered any kind of negative effects (stuck reeds) was the Hohner Morino VI N. Initially I must have had about a dozen notes on the left hand (almost all on the free bass side...
