Re: Forum software upgrade

Brute force attacks are fairly easy to beat using 2 simple steps: 1 - use compex passwords with uppercase, lower case numbers and symbols. 2 - change the passwords iften, like once a month. Even if someone brute forced the passwords, it takes time to crack a good one. A nice complex password takes a...

Re: Annpying bass vibration with your V-accordion?

On my 4x, I rarely have the main volume over 1/2. Orchestra bass Left hand - medium fixed, accordion left hand - Med fixed and bellows. I am surprised hearing that the 8x has more power and some using full volume? Do we need to drive these more for a typical strolling gig or small show? I like mine...

Re: Forum software upgrade

I am also really liking the look and feel of the board now too. It took me a few seconds to find where some things were, and I had to clean up my "signature" a bit, but it it's clean, easy and fast to use. I am enjoying it! :)

What wireless midi and audio transmitters do you use? The ones I was looking at are in the $500 each to have a nice setup that has decent range.

Re: Unofficial Sneak Peek

How many are going to the extreme of using our VAccordion to there full potentional? Sometimes we get our heads buried in the features of our instruments and ignore our audience. I's say about 30%-40% of the Noel sets for the 8X take advantage of this feature and thats not a bad thing. ;) Yes it is...

Re: Unofficial Sneak Peek

The concept is fairly simple. Layering is the ability to play more than one sound or instrument at a time. On the 8X, for example one can have the sound of an accordion, a trumpet and an organ all playing at the same time. One could also split the keyboard and layer different sounds to different are...

Re: Recording software

by the comment "should have known better", it is pretty obvious that you never played on a V-Accordion, as it is THE most complex piece of accordion technology on the market. Its so complex that 95% of the people never go beyond factory or at most installed sets and UPG's. You're quite right Jerry,...

Re: Recording software

And, if you are recording a V-Accordion (possibly, since you asked in digital and midi accordions) don't make the mistake I heard today on a youtube video by someone playing a Roland who should have known better. I listened to it with headphones, and the two sides of the accordion had been recorded...

(1) no new model - as the FR-8x and the FR-4x are selling well enough to eliminate the need for a new model.
Thank the Bugari Evo for that for the most part. Oh well, that's ok, I would not have been able to upgrade now anyway. :)
