Re: Fr4x editor software

Re: Recording software

The Adobe CS6 suite is expensive, but I like Adobe Audition, it has been my go to app for the last several years. The only thing that it cannot do is record MIDI, and that is when I use Reaper. I paid the personal use license and this APP does more than what 99% of even the most advanced users need....

Re: Recording software

Thats easy... Audacity. It's quite stable, fairly feature rich and most importantly, works on Apple or PC and is FREE. Feel free to google it. :) What will be more important is your choice of hardware use and method to record your accordion. For example, you will need multiple inputs, so that means ...

Re: Keyboard action of FR4X

It is part of the "issue" for sure, but there is also that feeling of pushing the keys through jello right from the top down, even before you get to the velocity sensitivity or after-touch portions of the movement. I really wish I could play a Bugari Evo for a few minutes, it would either dispel or ...

Re: Giulietti Continental Free Bass

Currently no one, as there are no North American distributors (amazing, huh?). They finally did manage to change their website a little recently: http://www.bugarievo.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.bugarievo.com/distributors/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fa...

Re: Giulietti Continental Free Bass

I keep hearing insinuations that Roland is going to stop making the V accordions. If you buy one, is there going to be support for it 10 years from now. List price for an FR-8X appears to be about $6500. I guess most places discount it. Been trying to find out if the Fr-9? is going to come out soon...

Re: V-Accordion on an airplane

Nice idea! But you have to write down the Utility and Set Common. The USB only saves UPG and Set on 4x. Not sure if this is true with 8x? my Korg arranger has a hard drive, drag and drop settings programs from a PC. If you wanted to "duplicate" your setup on another you need to have 6 pieces of dat...

Best way I know is to purchase the sets from Richard Noel:

Re: Finding the right accordion

Systems with a converter system are often called Free Bass or Melodie Bass. Some come with the Free Bass and Stradella separately, this is what I own and have come to prefer: Http://syner-g.asuscomm.com/mymusic/files/185bass.jpg I think it is true that your first accordion is rarely your last one, i...

Re: Fr4x editor software

I am concern over the the electronics when doing bellow shakes on VAccordion? Can you even do a good bellows shake witha "V"? I know you cannot on an 8X. As far as the electronics are concerned... don't be, there are no internal moving parts inside the circuits. Shake the box around all you want. :)
