Officially my first video!

Officially my first video!

Postby JerryPH » Sun Apr 02, 2017 11:14 pm

I was playing around testing out the sounds from Richard Noel's sets and hit this register... first song that came out of my head and rolled off the keyboard was this Tango I knew, and today for the first time in a long time, I finally found a few hours where I could enjoy a free afternoon to myself, so I recorded and edited this video.

I really had fun making it mostly because of the Argentinian bandoneon sound... that, and I wanted to make a video that was a bit different and fun, hence the "unique" beginning.

That 8x is starting to grow on me! :D

You clearly like your new toy a lot!
There is some "static" noise in the beginning. Maybe you can still filter it out? Or maybe it is just my laptop with crappy sound (even through headphones)?

I think it's deliberate, Paul ! The black and white film with lines and crackles all make the beginning very nostalgic .... reminiscent of being played on a 78 rpm disc. Note the wink at the end of this section which then breaks into colour and clarity !

Corsaire,

You are surely not old enough to remember 78's.
