Re: Something totally accordion unrelated

unfortunately I dont play to much lately. I don't have the energy or time for it. But when I do it's so relieving :D and yes I play on the terrace! Or in my garden on the mountain. It's an experience because the sound has all the room to travel with no obstruction anywhere!

Its a heavy burden to carry around and also the price of An accordion for most young people is to much. Maybe for us as accordionlov...

Re: Fitting an expander how does it work

Well, as a minimum, one is going to have to add MIDI. Some people add MIDI just to the left hand so that they can add bass accompaniment but I am one of those that thinks that if you are going to add MIDI, add it to both side of the accordion. MIDI is the part that tells your expander what notes yo...

Re: leather valves again

Depends how bad they curled. I would start with flattening them and if that doesnt help replacing Them. Be sure to put the same leather in place as the old one though. In would say it minimizes the chance of the reed sounding detuned

Re: The Winning Post.

Coming from a background of piano, since i switched to accordion about 5 years ago, i feel like this instrument gives me more expressiveness. My goal would be learning more about using this instrument to its full potential. Bending notes, using Balkan techniques to add more spice and especially focu...

Super vi

I might be in the position to buy a super VI for a very reasonable price. Its a T model. I know the M is the most desirable with the plastic looking FARFISA one be the least desired one. But does anyone have some experience with the T model? And how desirable are they? I can't really afford it but i...
