Re: Bugari owners

Once a visited accordions of london and played a couple of instruments there. I played a Gola and several Bugari's.
I loved the Bugari's even more than the Gola I played (maybe cause the Gola was very old). I would have owned a Bugari if they weren't so expensive!

Re: Cassotto construction

No thats not it. How is it possible that the M reed is more mellow than the L on morino and not on other instruments. The morino is not as mellow as a gola and loads of other instruments

Re: Cassotto construction

beautiful. I totally forgot about this topic again. I did some more research and it seems this really mellow tonechambered ones that I love so much (the Gola and Super VI M for example) have rounded metal tonechambers. They don't go very deep but I think the big difference is the shape more than the...

Re: Short keyboard, fullsize keys - possible?

I got an Alesis q49. Has 49 keys but I bet there are small versions. It was only 80 euro's. Its a midi controller, not the best I can say, but no complaints either. The only thing that bothers me is that the forceregistration with which you press a key is not consistent. Like for one key you push it...

Re: accordion in canada

Thanks for the reactions! Well its not meant to be a superinstrument. Just a friendly gift, with sone fun in it. Around here you can get an old hohner for about 70 euros. My first 1 was a 100 euro paolo soprani. He will be in Toronto :).

Re: Black Diamond Accordions.

They used to offer 120 bass with cassotto even, but when I approached them about it they said due to little demand they stopped selling them. I guess professional players rather buy the Italian instruments.

accordion in canada

Hello! My friend just left to move to Canada. Just before he left he tried my accordion out and he was really enthousiastic about it! Also he seemed to have a real good feeling for the instrument. Better than most peoplewho already play music have (he never did anythingmusical). So I would like to g...

Re: LMMM with high reed?

Maybe it is a 5 voice. My morino has all the same switches as a regular lmmh accordion but it is 5 reeds. The only switches that use the mmm is the violin and masterswitch. though im not 100 percent sure about the master since that switch doesnt have any markings on it. Never bothered to check under...

Super paolo

I have seen a super paolo often being mentioned as a top instrument. However on my once in a while ebay strolls i come across so many different ones! 3 till 5 voice, with cassotto without cassotto all branded super Paolo. Just out of curiousity, is it a brand or a model Line?

Re: Something totally accordion unrelated

unfortunately I dont play to much lately. I don't have the energy or time for it. But when I do it's so relieving :D and yes I play on the terrace! Or in my garden on the mountain. It's an experience because the sound has all the room to travel with no obstruction anywhere!

Something totally accordion unrelated

So as Ive have mentioned before, I moved to Spain. The reason for that was a dream that I have had since a few years. I say I had because it just became reality today!!! I have my own little hostel in the beautiful old center of Granada, almost on the mountain! Still working on the burocratic stuff,...
