Re: Short keyboard, fullsize keys - possible?

Well it arrived eventually. I took it out of the box, plugged it in to my Macbook, started Garageband and off I went playing notes with it - absolutely no setting up needed for the Macbook or Garageband to recognise it. As for the keys, I don´t find them too bad. I little plasticy & springy perhaps,...

Re: Making an accordion resources website

well so far im making it myself on wix ......... You are going to struggle to make something as ambitious as this using Wix, or any other "build your website in 10 minutes without any previous knowledge" type system. For what you are attempting you would be much better off with a CMS (content manag...

Re: Short keyboard, fullsize keys - possible?

You got in just before I suggested it... Has it arrived yet? Please let us know how you set it up... and how you find it. I should've arrived on Friday, but an Amazon cockup means it should now arrive Monday or Tuesday. I plan to connect it to Garageband on my Mac if possible. I'll let you know how...

Re: Short keyboard, fullsize keys - possible?

Thanks for the info everyone. I had forgotten that PA keys are smaller than Piano keys. All the talk of "mini keys" and "small keys" had me thinking that these keyboards would be child size! I want to try and fashion a method to mount the keyboard vertically. I have quite a lot of spare time when I´...

Short keyboard, fullsize keys - possible?

Hi Folks,

Does anyone know of a (cheap) electronic keyboard or midi controller that has fullsize keys but in a small, say 25 or 32 key format? All I've found so far is the iRig Keys I/O 25 but at around 250€ it's a bit steep.

Further off-topic posts will be deleted.

Ok, I think it's time to leave this alone unless there are any directly relevant comments.
Thanks

Although I may not post much, I do still read through the forum.
I have deleted a number of posts from this thread. They were either belligerent, insulting or completely irrelevant to the subject matter being discussed.

Re: Akkordeon Café Dortmund Introduction and coming events

Might be really useful if we had a page on the forum dedicated to up-coming accordion events around the world. What a good idea! Do you think this could be set up? That way people that organize events or people that know of events could have a place to post info and maybe pics and videos of past ev...

Re: Hello from Spain

Hi, I'm a newbie to the accordion world, thanks to my wife who introduced me to this new instrument. I've been playing several instruments as amateur(ish) musician since I was at school (now I'm 55), but actually never played an accordion before. She's from Brazil, where there is a long tradition o...
