Re: Steamy rehearsal room

Boy, this thread turned out to be a lot less interesting than its title seemed to promise.   Would a silica gel bag added (stapled) inside help avoid the rust? I've seen them in a couple of mine, but I'm guessing they've been retro fitted... that sounds pro, do'nit? Why use a long...

PS 48 bass is too small in my opinion, it hasn't got enough mass to keep it still. If I have to go smaller than the 96, I think I'd try a 120 bass lady model - like a 1950s Hohner Carmen (Pic) ... or a full size 72

Re: Age - Aches & pains...

Hi Imschgo - thank you for taking the time to post this. I note it's also your first post so very much appreciated. I have seen the private physio who believed it to be a pinched nerve. Whilst it has improved a lot, it wasn't the immediate success she predicted. So I'm still 'off' playing and it sti...

Hi Davey - well if it sounds as good as the one in the vid when you're done it will be wellll worth it... Boisterous or what? I love these curved keyboards with the showman look and have pondered buying one but wondered how it would affect finger memory switching back to any of the rest of my collec...

Re: House Brands but made by Italian or other European Makers

I thought I followed the OP's gist... all the way up to the first reply... :D There'll be 'house brands' that were made by different makers, too. Like Allodi (well known & very respected long standing, 2 generation, UK dealer & players)used to be Excelsior and went to Fantini. Not sure from when, so...
