Re: Seakarjus

I forgot to mention that M and 7 above bass notes indicate chord type and c under bass note indicate counterbass.

Re: Seakarjus

I did sheet music for this tune. I included two versions, first one is simple single voice version and second is that arrangement what I did for video.

De nada :)

Re: FR1-X keyboard limitation?

I agree with others. I started with 26 key PA 14 years ago, it wasn't enough even for childrens music school first grade. For simple folk tunes it is enough but for tunes where octave switching is needed it is useless.

Re: Tips for hand independence?

Yes don't try to just rush through book - work things out until they feel natural and You are confident when playing them. As I recommended earlier search simple tunes as extra practicing material. I don't know what system CBA You use, still I recommend these books - http://ale07.ru/music/notes/song...

Re: Tips for hand independence?

It doesn't matter CBA or PA. It is usual thing for beginners. First learn both parts separately and then start playing them together at slow tempo, don't rush. I recommend to choose simple tune as starting point "Merrily we roll along" should be perfect, melody and bass rhythm are almost same and ma...

If it was resettable fuse then there must be or was or something triggers short circuit somewhere until fuse gave completely up. Cleaning plugs and contacts may help to avoid shorts in future. Closely inspecting cables is also very good ieda, especially those that are bent, there may be micro cracks...

Re: Treble Coupler Notation ( the dots )

I have seen mostly dots. Names may differ from country to country and from maker to maker. I have Panacordion PA which came from Argentina, it have coupler names in spanish. In sheet music I have seen mostly dots, very rarerly bassoon or musette is mentioned.

Re: B system, C system

I choosed B system when I switched from PA. I switched because my first accordion teacher recommended. He told me "professionals play CBA and you should too" it was back when I was on second grade in childrens music school, of course I wasn't professional :D CBA was and is still quite rare in estoni...

Re: Hohner Lucia CBA

Boxes in this size range are probably custom job nowdays. There was market for these kind of boxes in 30's and 40's - soldiers. Most small CBA-s nowdays are 4 to 5 rows and starting from 60 bass. I tried to search if any Hohner Lucia CBA is popped up in eBay but nothing, I found only one chinese sma...

Re: Hohner Lucia CBA

3 row boxes are not waste at all! It depends on players playing technique, can he/she use 3 rows or not. And most importantly can he/she utilise CBA efficently! I have noticed that when I started playing B-system CBA I used all 5 rows almost in every song, even in simple ones, now 7 years since begi...

Re: The Rarity of Smaller (48 bass?) Musette Accordions

Roland FR-1xb is 72 bass box. As TomBR mentioned there is difference what system player uses. System sets its limits FR-1xb CBA has 37 notes vs FR-1x PA has 26 notes - quite big difference. 26 notes is quite small, it can be played of course but may be little limiting, certainly they are usually int...

Re: The Rarity of Smaller (48 bass?) Musette Accordions

Smaller 3 voice musette boxes aren't very rare at all, if You play CBA You can easily get small boxes. Most of French accordionists play 4 row CBA-s, many are 96 or 80 bass models. Bass system that french players use are little different, seventh and diminished seventh chords are combined - seventh ...
