Re: The New England Accordion Museum

No, I will use. NIkon D4 or if it is released by then, the new D850, however I think that even the D4 is overkill for the size of the shots needed, even for full page shots

Round two fun begins after the shots are completed and I get to play on some of the accordions in the other room!

Re: PC Games Music - WarCraft 2

Music is music is music. Either the musician is able to play it or not. It is true that Free Bass offers more versatility/freedom on the left hand, but threr iare zero reasons why an arrangement cannot be made and played on the stradella bass system.

Re: replacing the valves for nailed on reeds.

Yeah, metal reeds vibrating in a wood box are a bad comparison to a wine glass. A closer comparison to your example would be reeds nailed in vs reeds with wax liberally poured ON them, not around them. I only saw my first Ranco (never heard one) at a museum recently so I don't know what that special...

Re: Upside down?

That full sized harp and Grand Piano would also be quite the challenge, especially when trying to balance them in your lap... lol

We have a member here that is a true "lefty" and plays his CBA (amongst other instruments), upside down. :)

Re: Stolen Accordion?

The fact is that yes, there are actually people stupid enough to sell stolen articles on the net. Not so surprisingly, law enforcement is remarkably lax (at least it is here in North America), for certain things and in those cases, the people most likely to find it are the people from whom it was st...
