Re: Six Of The Best.

It’s a very interesting subject in itself how to put together a medley. I imagine that for dances you have constraints that you would not have if it were a concert event or background music at a dinner. I suppose that if the dancers are not prepared for it each song has to have the same cadence unle...

Re: Ron Carter & Richard Galliano in Paris

Thanks for the concert report. Sounds like quite an intimate affair with a real chance to get close to the action. It’s a great feeling when you can project yourself onto the music being played. Indeed the piano can’t do that but don’t write it off as it can do other things the accordion can only dr...

Re: Tarantella Napoletana

Good spot Paul. I don’t normally listen to YouTube on headphones but now I have the sides are indeed swapped. Probably cables swapped. By the way Piotr, if you record directly to the usb you won’t have this problem. In any case the stereo placement can be set up in one of the menus I believe. Sent f...

Re: St Andrews Ceilidh - Brussels November 24th

Good luck with your Ceilidh. I had no idea that one celebrated St Andrew in Belgium unless this is a get together for expats. I’ve been to a few Burns nights here in Holland but no St.Andrew nights. Keep us posted on your progress. What does one play for St.Andrew?

Re: Charlie Watkins...W.E.M. .... English Legend

Indeed a great website and very interesting article. Pity it doesn’t go into any depth with regards to accordions. If only he could have made the accordion as “sexy” as his electric guitars we’d be laughing now.

Re: Link Wray's RUMBLE....

Fun performance. Thanks.
It’s great fun using modern recording devices with the accordion.
I just got myself a Boss looper pedal which is a hoot.
