Re: The Layman's guide to buying a new accordion online

PS the other eBay foible to watch out for is they plaster their so called buyer protection guarantee logo on listings that is clearly digital delivered content, which, unless you already know this exception, is misleading & personally I think ought to be reported to trading standards.

Re: The Layman's guide to buying a new accordion online

Sorry to argue, Maugein, but a point of clarification: AFAI can see, eBay's guarantee does cover digital equipment . However, and this is where the misunderstanding may have occurred, it doesn't cover 'digitally delivered content': so If you order a CD you're covered, if you order an MP3 delivered b...

Triffic. .. I'm guessing that piece would be all but impossible to do justice to on a PA?
Why? The widest jumps between the notes are not 2 octaves apart, the rest is just technical mastery. :)
I couldn't play that piece to near that standard in a month of Sundays.

Re: Accordions of Scotland - Anyone bought for them?

Yes M96 useful info to help people to be mindful - I forget, sometimes, that what I think is glaringly obvious (ie paying by paypal is NOT paying by credit card) isn't necessarily obvious to everyone else... maybe that hasn't had the same commercial background. We could have a long off topic discuss...

You didn't pay the deposit on credit card by any chance?
..which would have been wise as one could claim it back (if over £100 to £30k) in the event the shop has done a runner/gone mammaries verticula..
