Wanted: Push buttons, Excelsior "R" and shoulder straps

Post by OldRestorer » Tue Oct 24, 2017 3:37 pm

Hello,
I am looking for the R that is missing from my Excelsior and a set of shoulder straps.
I am a large man so keep that in mind,
I am also looking for 3 buttons for a little box I bought. They are about 1/4 wide and 1/2" tall.
Any help is appreciated.
Kirk

Kirk you don't say where your located.
As for the buttons - contact
http://www.buttonbox.com/

As far as the Excelsior "R" - well this part has been obsolete for 60+ years now and any shop that has them will save them for restoration.
Best to replace the whole badge.
As for straps - I have Italian, Canadian and Neotech in my shop.
Send me a PM.

I see,
I had to create a profile for the location to show.
Thanks for the link.
I will message you when I get up to that point.

Hey Jim,
I don't really share my personal info. I got mine stolen once and it is hell. MA is close? You must like to drive, lol
If you have anything I need then PM me and we can exchange numbers if we can work something out.

:)

My use of the word "close" means - On this side of the pond.
Kings Park is 3 hrs. from me.

kirk,
Hey... I am more than twice that far from Jim's and I've visited twice! Well worth every minute of it. Drive the 3 hours and enjoy learning about your instruments.

I've also done the trip twice now, from Montreal, Quebec Canada to the NEAM in Canaan, CT, a near 6 hour drive each way for me. There are some pretty special people in that area for some reason... well worth going to see, *if* you can! :)
