The Forum Is Changing
Hi folks. Shortly this forum will be migrating to different software and, in addition, we will also have a new website address. To migrate all the posts, users, etc. will take a little time so there will be some downtime on the forum while this is done. I am trying to do this sooner rather than later so it may not be possible to give you prior notice of the downtime.
Once migrated to our new address, visitors to www.accordionists.co.uk will be automatically redirected to the new website address.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but the change to the software has now become really necessary.

Richard Galliano in London

Post by simonking » Fri Oct 12, 2018 6:40 pm

I keep an eye on Richard Galliano's website from time to time in the hope that he will be performing somewhere convenient, and this time my luck is in. He's giving a solo recital as part of the London jazz festival at Wigmore Hall on Friday 23rd November 2018.

This a rare chance for those of us in the UK to see one of the very top accordionists in the world as most of his gigs seem to be in mainland Europe or further afield. I'll be in the front row!

How wonderful - lucky you - enjoy the concert. I loved going to concerts in Wigmore Hall when I worked in London many years ago.

Enjoy the concert! We had a Galliano solo concert not too long ago here in Eindhoven (the Netherlands) and it was definitely worth it. He even played something on just the accordina (I forget what it was).
