Post by BalKo » Sun Jan 01, 2017 8:21 pm

Hi! I am new on this forum. Recently i got my first professional accordion Victoria Concerto (piano accordion with converter c-system in left hand) This school year I started to learn accordion on a high school otherwise i am playing accordion for 6, 7 years. I was wondering if anyone also plays c-system converter? In school i am starting to learn classic music and so on. Beside that I like playing Tango, jazz, ...

Happy new year to all!

C-system is more or less the standard for the convertor on a piano accordion, unless of course you are from Russia where russian B system (low notes at the bottom) is standard on the convertor on a piano accordion (and on button alike). In Europe C-system accordions mostly have C-system (mirrored) bass system and B-system accordions mostly have B-system (mirrored) bass system, but with B-system the russian bass system seems to be growing in popularity.

I don't know, i just think it is the complete instrument with which you can play all music genres. Before i played Synteshizer, a little bit of guitar and bass... :D
