Hi Anders & welcome - I suspect you're the winner in this poll! What kind of music do you play on your many accordions (I like traditional Swedish tunes).

For a starter, on of my favorite tunes, played by on of Swedens's best accordionist .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qL-uXwlf2-4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And of course Carl Jularbo, I play many of his tunes.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdteELIq_WI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And a polka: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBC5kRSwAOQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
There is a lot more on Youtub. Now you know what to look for. :-)
There is even some whit me playing, not very proud of my performance, so you have to look it up yourself. Good luck, and have a nice weekend. In Western Norway we have a beautiful day.

Oops! I assumed you were Swedish because of the many Swedish accordions. :oops:
Now tell us about Norwegian music... or start a thread in the European music section

My favorite music is from Sweden, and In the summer I take part i many festivals in Sweden. and got many good friends there. Next weekend I am going to Älvdalen. a small place in Sweden where the Hagström factory was. But I live in Norway. My name, Anders, is also very common in Sweden, another great Swedish Accordion-player i Anders Larsson.
Here is an exelent Norwegian, Asmund Bjørken http://youtu.be/hk_lWLXrg54" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The accordion Hågedal is playing, is called Finto, it is a button accordion, but made to look like a piano-accordion. In the older days it was kind of finer to play piano-system.

Two Hohners, Student VM 48 bass and Concerto 111 72 bass.

Not sure if I should include my daughters 8 base scarlatti, (described in the paperwork as "child midget prodigy accordion" - a classic of translation.)

I own 4 accordions.
My best Cellini 120 basses 7 registers in great shape, plays beautifully
Nobily 120 basses only 3 registers, it is my practice accordion, since it is lighter and a bit smaller. Italian made, has wonderful sounding reeds, and is in tune. I had to fix the bellows: The corners were all splitting, I replaced them as well as fixed one side of the bellows with new fabric and tape. A lot of work, but worth the effort.
Capri - 80 basses - this is Musette tuned, but bellows leak some. It needs fixing too, but since it is my childhood instrument it has family memories, and a special place in my heart.
Antique - Ancona from Soprani- a restoration in progress. It plays though, but needs tuning.
I enjoy the different accordions, they all seem to have their own personalities. {}
