Terry (if you're still here) I thought what you'd done with the tune was great. I don't know enough harmony to interpret it but the way it moved from a darker feel at the start to a brighter more open feel towards the end was excellent. Maybe that's all written into the music, I don't know. I can appreciate Bob's point about the two beat rhythm - as I remember, you did something similar with Polka Dots and Moonbeams (?). I can imagine these with a drummer with brushes. At the same time I find your recent habit of throwing the phrases into mid-air with a bit of silence around the, very emotional. For someone like me who has trouble recognising a IV chord, I also find your videos very helpful because they show me in close up just what the effect of a change in harmony can be. Anyway I look forward to hearing what you come up with when you come back.
