Fun video.

It doesn't do his music justice frankly, and his live performances definitely take things up notch. I have 3 cd's and they are all fantastic listening. I have been to a few accordion fests and his playing of the instrument itself has definitely been my favourite. Very good sound - you can easily envision yourself in some sort of medieval/gothic setting when listening.

Antti came to the Accordion Noir Festival in Vancouver last year and was a treat. Really nice getting to hang around with him and the women from Iva Nova (from St. Petersburg, Russia). Sometimes you dream these things and they come true from all across the world!

Hi Bruce - yes, I was there. The Anglican Church show was the highlight for me. I do believe we conversed...maybe it was the last night of the festival at the merch table? Bearded guy from Calgary...

I love the diversity of the festival - this is what got me into these strange magical boxes...I wasn't expecting to be blown away by Antti but I was. Blew my budget on his cd's - they really help me live my medieval self vicariously through imaginary castles. It is really nice to be that surprised at something in a world where not much surprises me anymore!

Antti's videos are great fun. He and the other headliner at last year's festival Iva Nova from Russia both have a lot of entertaining high-quality videos online. I'd guess there's some cultural funding for such things. They're very creative.

The video reminds me of the joke:
Q: Why is an accordion better than a violin?
A: It burns longer.
